Description

Unusually for still ros, this is a co-fermentation of one red grape and one white grape, the Basque varieties Hondarribi Beltza and Hondarribi Zuri, respectively. Similarly to a Vinho Verde, there’s a bit of spritz in the bottle, thanks to trapped CO2 left over from fermentation. Ameztoi’s holdings border the Bay of Biscay, imbuing this wine with a fresh salinity and a hit of watermelon that implore you to have just one more glass…a perennial staff favorite!
