Laphroaig has announced the launch of its annual Cairdeas (Gaelic for Friendship) limited edition single malt Scotch whisky, Laphroaig Cairdeas Warehouse1.

Laphroaig Cairdeas Warehouse 1 was exclusively matured in first-fill Makers Mark bourbon casks and solely aged in Laphroaigs Warehouse 1 on Islay before being bottled NCF (Non-Chill Filtered) at 52.2%ABV.

The famously peaty Scotch whisky brandLaphroaig, owned by Beam Suntory, has announced its annual release of Laphroaig Cirdeas edition: Laphroaig Cirdeas 2022 Warehouse 1.

This release takes its name from Laphroaigs Warehouse 1, which has stood for nearly 200 years. The four-story, seaside warehouse helps provide the brands trademark maritime characteristics.

Laphroaig Cirdeas 2022 Warehouse 1 matured in first-fill Makers Mark bourbon casks, and aged in Laphroaigs warehouse, resulting in traditional notes of peat, smoke and salt.
