Description

Mediterranean white grape varietal blend (Fiano, Vermentino, Greco and Arinto). The four varieties were chosen to hold lots of natural acid when grown in a warm viticultural climate. Hand pruned and harvested. A blend of Fiano, Vermentino, Greco and Arinto from Riverland rock stars Ashley and Holly Ratcliffe, this wine is a bit reductive to start, highlighting umami seaweed characters, but it opens with time in the glass to reveal grapefruit, stone fruit and honeyed floral tones. The palate is beautifully balanced and textured, with citrus pith raking across a powdery mouthfeel toward a long, tangy finish. Food-friendly and full of personality.
