This effusive, complicated and intriguing site-specific red is blended with 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Tones of jalapeo, pencil lead and saddle leather contrast against a velvety wall of dark cherry and vanilla. It is muscular yet well integrated, with a crushed-velvet texture on the finish.
