When Renato Ponte graduated from the Alba School of Viticulture in 1998, he is looking for an illustration for the title page of the traditional publication of the final year – and comes up with the idea of ??Romano Levi, a genius, unfortunately recently deceased, grape burner from Piedmont, known for his hand-painted labels of Donna Selvatica to ask for it. He agrees and so begins the friendship between Renato and Romano Levi.
