Rmy Martin teamed up with award-winning furniture and lighting designer Lee Broom to reinterpret its XO glass decanter. Hundreds of fine starburst cuts have been made into the indents to its solar shape, with each cut symbolizing one of the many eaux-de-vie within the Rmy Martin XO blend. Bloom was also inspired by the experience of serving it on ice, so the cuts are also made to convey a sense of icicles.

Distillery Information

The name Rmy Martin comes from the company founder, born in 1695 near Rouillac in southwestern France. A vintner by trade, in 1724 he created a cognac trading house. On his death in 1773, the business passed to his grandson, also named Rmy. In 1841, Paul-Emile-Rmy Martin assumed control and oversaw great growth.
