As a family business, we practice biodynamic, natural viticulture in the metropolis of Vienna. The highest quality, respect for nature and sustainability that has been practiced for generations these are the values that guide us. Our vineyards on Bisamberg and Nussberg have different soils and a different climate, separated by the Danube. The natural cultivation with a lot of manual work creates a wide range of lively wines with character that represent the uniqueness of the Vienna area. Our wines celebrate international tasting success and are exported to 45 countries on all continents. Already at the age of twenty, Fritz gained valuable and future-oriented experience overseas: He learned about new technologies and wine styles and recognized quality optimization as the rung to success. Today, Fritz has more than 30 years of experience and is consistently guided by the guiding principle of quality. As a pioneer in contemporary Viennese wine, he is already referred to as the doyen of Viennese wine. The parade winemaker doesn’t just stop at talking, his visions are always followed by actions: he was largely responsible for the revival of the Wiener mixed set DAC and has been a member of the traditional Viennese wineries that classify Erste Lagen in Vienna since 2018.
