Producer Information

As a winemaking family, we cultivate many first-class locations in Nierstein am Rhein. The focus is on the steep slopes with gradients of up to 60% in the world-famous Roter Hang. With its rare red slate, this produces vibrant and incredibly opulent specialties. Our locations, which are characterized by limestone and loess with their slightly cooler microclimate, are no less important. Brilliantly fruity, elegant and delicate wines with extremely dynamic fruit acidity are created here. When interpreting our terroir, we give preference to the best grape variety in the world, Riesling. In terms of aroma and taste, this outstanding vine represents everything in our wines that has emerged in the Nierstein vineyards over millions of years. In addition to Riesling, we also cultivate Grner Veltliner and Silvaner. It is important to us to vividly represent the Nierstein climate in our wines. Our goal is to offer authentic wines with a distinctive expression of their origin in terms of taste and aroma.
