Iconic Manzanilla named for the widow Aurora Ambrosse Lacave, pioneering female sherry executive of the early 20th century. Yuste has skillfully integrated the 19th-C. solera with his own to produce a complex, rounded and saline Manzanilla between 8 and 10 years of age, bottled with minimal treatment to preserve an interplay of seaside freshness and full mid-palate. the Aurora is our newest Manzanilla and one of our more exciting Sanluqueo offerings in quite a while! A blend of two different soleras: one in barrio bajo which contributes umami driven savoriness and the other in barrio alto which lends a round richness, this is a Manzanilla that satisfies and clearly is punching beyond its weight class. Aromas of flor and tarragon lead to a lovely appley palate with surprising textural weight and length.
