Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Two-Year Barleywine Reserve 2022 | 500ML Tasting Notes

Nose: It has very pleasant and lovely aromas.

Palate: Notes of toffee, cherry, vanilla, fig, and almond.

Finish: Quite delicate and smooth texture on the long finish.

Distillery Information

The oldest currently-operating brewing company in Illinois, it began as a brewpub that opened in 1988 in the Lincoln Park neighborhood, and was named after a nearby island. A larger production brewery opened in 1995. A second brewpub, in Wrigleyville, opened in 1999 and closed in 2015.
