Laurichesse Le Chai de Mon Pere Fut 300 | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Chocolate, oak spices and fruit. Very different from the 301 and 104 barrels, with an explosion of red fruits. Dried plums, figs, dates, red raisins. Overall, the nose is very different from the other two barrels and perhaps atypical but of rare elegance and richness.
Palate: Rich in flavor and texture. Sweet and sour. Dried and candied red fruit profile: pasta, figs, prunes and other candied fruits. Chocolate and spices. Oak tannins and bitterness from red apple peel. Almost imperceptible alcohol.
Finish: Long and persistent.
