From Caroline Frey, also of Bordeauxs Chteau La Lagune, this has a savoury nose and a lively blackcurrant and berry palate boasting black pepper spiciness. Serious, but smooth and supple, and ever so easy to drink. Attractive bright ruby color with a violet hue. On the nose scents of lavender and violet. On the pallet there is a smooth, rich attack with notes of blackcurrant and cherry finishing with liquorice notes. A 100% syrah wine, round and spicy with supple tannin.
