Description

From vines planted over a century ago on sandy loam soils at over 850m on Etnas vertiginous slopes, this is a remarkable expression of the indigenous Carricante grape. Detailed notes of white peach, lemon, lime and soft sage create a full and distinct aroma which leads to an elegant, intense mouthfeel; stony, chalky minerals fill the palate which has a fine texture thanks to some gentle lees stirring.
