Description

Promontory Napa Valley Red’s Color is obsidian with deep ruby rim. Tasted at winery next to 2008. Nose is boysenberry, black pepper, damp worn leather, and lavender. This is highlight reel Napa bordeaux blend. Palate is perfection already, and will hold until my retirement. Impossibly refined tannins and present but not overpowering acidity. Chocolate, cassis, and strawberry all between layers of graphite.
