Description

Giusto di Notri is a powerful yet elegant wine. Pre-harvesting was limited as well as grape clusters selection since the vintage did not require any particular intervention. This wine shows extreme complexity and structured, also considering of the marvelous vintage. This blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc and 8% Merlot is one of the three benchmarks from Tua Rita. Merlot was harvested first in mid-September, and the Cabernets came off the vines in October, without a cloud in the sky. The wine shows the heft and determination you should expect, although this vintage reveals a magically delicate and elegant side with aromas of blue flowers, spice and wild plums. The wine is also light and fresh on the palate with a surprising degree of weightlessness, yet the persistence is long and polished.
